Adult Programming
We offer and array of programs, ranging from educational experiences; arts instruction; games; sports; fitness; and special interests. You can view opportunities, and register via our online registration portal.

Recreation Guide
View our upcoming programs via our 2023-2024 Fall-Winter Recreation Guide. Registration begins on Tuesday, August 22nd.
Drop-in Programs
Drop-in programs do not require pre-registration. You can participate in games, sports, hobbies, and more. Use our Drop-In Programming widget to view upcoming drop-in programs. While the widget displays total available program slots, you cannot register for or reserve a spot.

Children’s Programming
City-led children’s programming can include Introductory Youth Tennis Lessons, Earth Day Everyday Workshops, and more! Pre-registration is required and additional information can be found through our online portal.
Swimming Lessons and Aquatic Programming
Swimming lessons and Aquafit programming are offered in partnership with the YMCA of Southwestern Ontario. Please visit the the Sarnia-Lambton YMCA website for more information.
Children’s Choo Choo Train
The Children’s Mini Choo Choo Train is a 42-foot-long train, seating 10, that is wheelchair accessible, located in Canatara Park in partnership with the Seaway Kiwanis Club. It starts at the station near the Animal Farm and travels throughout the park for approximately five-minute trips.
The train is set to board for the 2023 season starting Saturday, May 20th from 9:00am to 2:00pm on weekends for May and June. Starting July 2, 2023 the train will operate daily from 9:00am to 2:00pm during July and August. Then returning for weekends in September to October 8th, 2023. The cost is $2.00 per child and no charge for adults accompanying the child.
