Adult Programming
Programming includes, but is not limited to, fitness and wellness classes, carpet bowling, shuffleboard, footcare, card games, and pickleball. View information on registration opening dates, program details, and more through our online portal.
Registrations will be accepted online at Active Communities Sarnia or by calling Customer Service at 519-332-0330 extension 3131.
Virtual programming opportunities
Low Impact Fitness, featuring yoga instructor Ann Bending, will be offered once again on YourTV. This is a seated exercise program, similar to Chair Yoga, which is available to Cogeco subscribers.
Children’s Programming
City-led children’s programming can include Introductory Youth Tennis Lessons, Earth Day Everyday Workshops, and more! Pre-registration is required and additional information can be found through our online portal.
Swimming Lessons and Aquatic Programming
Swimming lessons and Aquafit programming are offered in partnership with the YMCA of Southwestern Ontario. Please visit the the Sarnia-Lambton YMCA website for more information.
Outdoor Summer Camp Programming
Outdoor summer camp programming is being offered in partnership with the YMCA of Southwestern Ontario for campers aged 4-12 years old at Camp Saredaca. Please visit the Sarnia-Lambton YMCA website for more information.
Children’s Choo Choo Train
The Children’s Mini Choo Choo Train is a 42-foot-long train, seating 10, that is wheelchair accessible, located in Canatara Park in partnership with the Seaway Kiwanis Club. It starts at the Station near the Animal Farm and travels throughout the park for approximately five-minute trips.
